We Owe It To Ourselves (or maybe you just owe it to me)

Whatever works, just write. Let's put things down and keep it rolling.

I've got some projects in the works but I want to get more off the ground. I'm going to try and post once a day and get you guys posting more as well. Right now I'm developing a mobile comic (trying to write an article on what a mobile comic is and how the format/medium for comic books is changing rapidly right now), just kicked off a spec illustrated adaptation for a major publisher (through a Lit Agent but nothing is definite), and am currently back to lettering my epic 200+ page black and white graphic novel Liquid Fury.

I've also just update my other blog for my novel Tower of Brahma so it will now post a chapter every Monday until next April. Hopefully I'll have the final three chapters written well before that. But these are some damn good chapters right now. As for the one that's up right now, #47, that is definitely one of my landmark chapters and it sort of ties into what I'm doing right now in the book. East Village. Time Travel. Future Selves and The Meaning of Life.

As for projects I'd like to work on:

a short film about a superhero that accidentally kills another hero or perhaps a villain, done in a noir/crime vibe.

a series of short musical episodes about a mismatched band comprised of members from other failed bands, set to compete in an Interdimensional Battle of the Bands. Think Monkees meets Mighty Boosh meets Spinal Tap.

a screenplay (that I might write as a graphic novel just to get it down) about giant serpents attacking Montauk. Philadelphia Experiment meets Monster Hunting Shows meets Pitch Black.


These are just a few sample ideas I have brewing, but I definitely need help getting anything to be filmed out there in the world. I have a cameraman with equipment, I have a SFX/makeup girl, an editor/tech, a musician, and possibly some extras. Anything sound good? Want to help me develop it? Let's start taking those first few steps.
